If you saw my title you’d know I said the doctor diagnosed me with bi polar and adhd, not that I diagnosed myself.

A regular GP or family doctor is not trained to make such diagnosis. To get a proper diagnosis you need to see a psychiatrist. Do not allow yourself to be a label until someone who is qualified tells you so and if in fact you are diagnosed with either of these conditions, please remember that they are illnesses, not labels and are treatable.
